Responsibilities

The Social Media Specialist will: 

  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency. 
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels. 
  • Work with Specialists to create, edit, and publish engaging content for social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube) and 
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between clients and the company and ensure a positive customer service experience. 
  • Create actionable plans to grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms like X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. 
  • Monitor, engage, and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner to build community engagement. 
  • Plan and manage paid social media ads and monitor ad performance, budget allocations, and ROI for social media ads. 
  • Track and analyse social media metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other social media analytics platforms. 
  • Regularly report campaign performance, audience growth, engagement rates, and ROI. 
  • Manage Credo's client social media platforms when required. 
  • Ensure all social media content aligns with the brand's voice, values, and tone. Maintain consistent messaging across all social channels. 
  • Oversee creating and implementing the monthly editorial calendar, including monthly sales objectives and initiatives. 
  • Stay updated on social media trends, new platform features, and algorithm changes. 

The ideal candidate must have the following minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing. 
  • Proficiency in managing and growing social media accounts on major platforms. 
  • Strong writing and content creation skills, with a knack for engaging storytelling. 
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools. 
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling visual content.
  •  Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach. 
  • Passion for staying up to date with social media trends and best practices
