As a Software/Tech Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the technology sector. You will play a key role in expanding our reach, growing our customer base, and exceeding revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new technologies, software and applications, trends, and customer needs.
- Develop and implement a strategic growth plan to expand the company's reach within the target market
- Develop a deep understanding of our company's technology and product offerings and their value proposition.
- Manage and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that address client challenges and showcase the benefits of our solutions.
- Identify and qualify potential leads, building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams (development, operations, marketing) to develop and implement winning sales strategies.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in software/application sales and deal closure or a related sales role, preferably within the technology sector. (This is Compulsory)
- Strong understanding of the technology landscape and current market trends.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing new business opportunities especially in the technology sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
