Responsibilities:
- Reviewing current systems for bugs, loopholes, security challenges and system flaws.
- Presenting ideas for system improvements.
- Preparation of training manuals for users and work closely with analysts, designers and other staff for training and help desk support if needed.
- Backup and Data Management Policy Design and Implementation
- Upgrading existing software as the company or client’s needs change.
- Investigating, diagnosing and correcting system issues.
- Testing software in controlled, real situations before it goes live.
- Writing and executing tests for subsystems and components.
- Documenting all work in accordance with agreed standards.
- Implement good software engineering practices in languages such as Java, Spring, Springboot, Spring Security, JPA, J2EE,..
- Ticket assignment & code review participation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 or more years of relevant software engineering/ software development.
- Minimum of 4 or more years’ experience with Java, other JVM languages, or an easily translatable Object- oriented language if highly skilled.
- Skilled in other languages like Node JS, Python (Django or Flask framework), .NET and C#
- Proven strength with persistence resources such as ELK, MySQL, Postgresql, Cassandra and Redis.
- Highly skilled with Git, github.
- Deep understanding of basic web application architecture (Microservice, event- driven,client/server, RESTful APIs, encryption, etc.).
