Job Overview:
As a Senior Solution Implementation/Lead Consultant in our Digital Technology Advisory team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering digital solutions that address complex business challenges. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for digital technologies and a track record of implementing innovative solutions in a consulting environment.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
A Consultant shall be a respected professional in her/his field who shall consistently apply the firm’s policies and procedures to:
- Advisor
- Lead and manage end-to-end digital transformation projects for high-profile clients
- Develop strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and tailoring digital solutions to meet these requirements
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expertise and guidance on digital strategy and implementation to clients and internal assignment
- EOIs and Proposals
When assigned by her/his Staff Manager, assist in preparing:
- Expressions of interest
- The technical component of a proposal as directed by the designated Staff Manager, including conducting any necessary research
- Assignments
- Carry out assignment duties in accordance with the terms of reference and assignment programme
- Carry out assignments employing professional knowledge and innovative solutions to problems encountered
- Carry out hardware component of solution implementation. Managing hardware peripherals supporting products
- Facilitates master plan for all PC/workstation validation
- Build, author and configure all application requirements including form integration
- Test all third-party integration of vendors software within or outside to ensure solution stability i.e. Swift, Interswitch etc
- Facilitate and manage project milestones
- Product definition, gathers business requirements and translates to configuration development and scope
- Application acceptance, validate, modify and test configuration work and business workflow requirements
- Train the trainers - facilitate product specific training and ensures trainers incorporate processes and procedures as designated
- Provide implementation/conversion support assistance with master conversion plan for implementation from a readiness to full production environment
- Manages technical activities and facilitates technical questionnaire, manages challenges and issues
- Training
- Develop materials and facilitate as a trainer on topics of her/his specialization
- Develop materials and facilitate generally (and at least once every six months) as a trainer and facilitator for the firm’s training programmes, thus gaining exposure to other skills and topics and honing presentational skills
- Team Leadership
- Hold regular team meetings in order to review progress and ensure exchange of experiences and ideas
- Act as the day-to-day interface between the client and our team
- Encourage, motivate and manage the team on site
- Manage the assignment in accordance with the instructions given by the Assignment Manager and keep her/him informed of progress
- Practice Development
- Identify opportunities to – or as requested - take the lead in conducting training courses on topics in area(s) of specialization and participate generally in the firm’s training programmes both internally and for clients
- Monitor and research emerging client needs and market developments in products and services in her/his area of specialization and recommend new developments and upgrading in which the firm might invest
- When assigned, develop and upgrade products and services in accordance with the approved budget(s)
- Innovation and Thought Leadership:
- Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies
- Contribute to thought leadership within the digital domain, publishing articles, and presenting at conferences
- Drive innovation within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and new approaches to challenges
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Requires good working knowledge of Oracle systems, Core Banking applications such as Finacle and Flexcube, as well as the Nigerian Banking Environment, interfaces with Network operators and payment aggregators
- Technical skills in Applications and solutions implementation
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-discipline professional team working in a multi-cultural environment
- Report Writing and Knowledge of IBM Query and Oracle Database
- Demonstrated experience in translating business needs/end-user requirements
- Demonstrated experience working in a client facing role
- Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Strong innovative problem- solving skills
- Effective presentation skills and a confident speaker
- Strong drive and focus, coupled with other listed skills, to be able to convert plans into action and requisite results on time
- Good oral and written English
- Able to conduct interviews effectively
- Able to work on her/his own initiative, i.e. with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5-9 years of experience in a digital technology advisory/consultancy role, with a proven track record of implementing digital solutions
- A track record of progressive achievement and advancement in implementing solutions and applications
- Strong knowledge of digital technologies and trends
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have at least two of the following professional qualifications:
- Networking – CCNA, CCNP
- System Administration – MCTS, etc
- Project Management - Prince2/PMP
- IT Service Delivery – ITIL v3 Foundation
- IT Governance – COBIT5 Assessor/Implementer
