Sr. Brand Manager at Ornua

WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE: 

  • This role is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that enhance Kerrygold’s presence and market share in Nigeria, leading and supporting initiatives to unlock growth.
  • The role will focus on brand management, market analysis, and the implementation of marketing campaigns to drive brand growth and consumer engagement, with a strong emphasis on driving penetration and market share.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Develop and implement brand strategies that facilitate the execution of strategic growth drivers in the Nigerian market.
  • Implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns that include above the line, through the line, and below the line activity with a focus on increasing brand awareness and penetration among the target audience.
  • Work with agencies to ensure optimal media mix and deliver effective and efficient media plans that drive impact, recency, and reach.
  • Identify consumer trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for brand growth, ensuring overall strategies are grounded in insight.
  • Coordinate product launches and promotions, ensuring effective communication and execution across all channels.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategies that drive in market sales.
  • Manage the marketing budget, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Brand guardian of the Kerrygold brand in Nigeria.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc. MBA is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related field.
  • Previous experience in successfully managing multinational brands within the FMCG sector in the Nigerian market.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data to drive growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Project management skills
  • Commercial experience would be an advantage.
