Role Description
This is a remote volunteer position as a Tech Mentor at AITI. As a Tech Mentor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their learning journey. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
- Live Recap Sessions (Virtual, weekly)
- Reviewing Recorded Class Videos (for errors and content quality)
- Assignments & Projects(Review and give feedback)
- Daily Support(via comm.channels and 10-15mins clarity call sessions)
You will help create a supportive and collaborative learning environment for the students through virtual communication channels.
Qualifications
- Experience in the tech industry
- Strong knowledge and skills in the specific tech area(s) you will mentor
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to work with diverse groups of individuals
- Understanding of the challenges faced by students in the educational system
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and encouragement
- Flexibility and adaptability to work remotely
- Experience in mentoring or teaching is a plus
- Proficiency in additional programming languages or technologies is beneficial
- Relevant certifications or degrees in the tech field
