We are seeking Technical Office Support Officer who will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and administrative assistance to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT infrastructure, and supporting end-users with technical queries.
This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of revolutionizing the finance industry through innovative technology solutions. As a Technical Office Support Officer you will also assist with the maintenance and improvement of office technology systems and procedures.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL IDEALLY HAVE TO:
- Provide first-level technical support to office staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain office equipment, including computers, printers, and networking devices.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and patches.
- Monitor and maintain office IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data security and integrity.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new software and hardware.
- Develop user guides and documentation for common technical procedures.
- Assist users with technical queries and provide step-by-step solutions.
- Manage inventory of office technology assets and supplies.
- Assist with procurement of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Coordinate with external vendors for repair and maintenance services.
- Support the IT team with ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Participate in the implementation of new technology solutions and upgrades.
- Assist with the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe, Microsoft Suite, and document editing.
- Availability to handle live chat during weekends.
- To handle office design tasks.
- Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
