Our dynamic team has over 20-years experience in the Health sector and has worked on a host of hospital new build and upgrade projects in both the Public and Private Health sectors within and outside Nigeria.

Job Summary:

  • Our Client is seeking a proactive and experienced Technology Manager to oversee their IT operations and infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of their technology systems, and lead a team of IT professionals in supporting the company's technological needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring systems are reliable and secure.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols to protect data and systems from threats.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor performance to ensure the team meets organizational objectives.
  • Project Management: Plan and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and migrations.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, including forecasting expenses and optimizing costs.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure the best terms.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and stakeholders.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of IT issues to minimize downtime and disruption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
  • Proven experience with project management and team leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and use computer equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
