Responsibilities
- Create, edit, optimize and publish videos on different social media platforms, such as Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Capture and edit footage using specialized software.
- Combining raw footage from different sources and shoots to create a coherent story.
- Select clips, music, and sound effects to enhance videos.
- Develop and execute marketing plans and creative strategies for social media platforms.
- Researching on the key SEO terms and implementing them in the content to gain maximum exposure.
- Supervising and managing all technical aspects of editing and video recording
- Developing and managing the brand’s social media identity
- Managing a social media content calendar
- Increasing social media engagement across platforms
- Building and moderating social media communities by responding to comments and keeping members engaged.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification
- Good knowledge in film, cinematography, or a related field with at least 3 years working experience
- Experience as a video editor and social media manager
- Must be able to use a camera to take photos and videos
- Ability to turn a concept into compelling content
- Extensive knowledge of the popular social media platforms
- Practical experience with After Effects and editing software
- Must have a creative and artistic mind.
- Ability to transform ideas into complete projects
- Familiarity and understanding of special effects and 3D composition.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
