Job Description
- Manage and maintain web hosting servers and infrastructure.
- Monitor server performance, uptime, and security.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Configure and optimize web server software, such as Apache, Nginx, or IIS.
- Install and configure web applications and databases.·
- Troubleshoot server and network issues.
- Implement security measures to protect servers and data.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of web services.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in web hosting technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience managing web hosting servers and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of web server software, such as Apache, Nginx, or IIS.
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration.
- Knowledge of WHM, WHMCS, Cloud computing and Server Management
- Understanding of server-side CSS.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
