We are focused on enhancing a stable economic state by promoting women’s empowerment through entrepreneurship training, eradicating illiteracy in our society by providing educational opportunities for children from impoverished homes and the vulnerable as well as increase their access to learning thereby developing and strengthening their cognitive skills to better equip them for self-sustenance and also improving the wellbeing of those in our communities through medical mission.

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Website and Social Media Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our organization's website and social media presence to enhance our online visibility, engagement, and outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities
Website Management:

  • Maintain and update the organization's website with fresh and relevant content.
  • Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines.
  • Regularly update content, including news, events, and resources.
  • Monitor website performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop new web features and functionalities as needed.

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Create engaging content (including text, image, and video) for various social media platforms.
  • Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Produce high-quality content for both the website and social media channels.
  • Curate content related tocommunity events, and relevant topics of interest.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the organization's mission and values, and adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms.

Community Engagement:

  • Build and nurture relationships with our online community, including followers, supporters, and partners.
  • Foster dialogue and interaction through social media channels to promote awareness and participation in our initiatives.
  • Monitor trends and participate in relevant discussions to stay informed and engaged with our audience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Proven experience in website management and social media marketing, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of web development tools and content management systems
  • Proficiency in social media management platforms and analytics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Strong writing and editingskills
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative content ideas and campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
