Rainoil Limited is a leading downstream oil marketing company; primary products which include (PMS), Diesel (AGO) and Kerosene (DPK). Rainoil Limited was incorporated in November 1994, commencing operations in May 1997. In 1999, Rainoil Limited acquired its first service station. Rainoil’s operations currently span across the downstream value chain i.e. Tank Farm Storage, Petroleum Product Haulage/Distribution and Bulk/Retail Sales Operations. : From one service station, the company’s assets/facilities have grown over the last 17 years to include: • An ultra-modern multi-product storage depot with a combined capacity of 50 million litres in Oghara, Delta State; with a proximally located, exclusive Jetty which • 29 retail outlets strategically located in major cities such as Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Onitsha, Asaba, Makurdi, Sapele etc. • A fleet of 75 tank trucks for petroleum product distribution • 3 shipping vessels We purchase products from PPMC and also import from reputable off-shore suppliers such as Glencore Energy UK Limited and VITOL. To drive efficient delivery of products to our national network of retail outlets and customers we utilise our fleet of tank trucks. Rainoil maintains an active involvement in petroleum product distribution in the Lagos market via purchases from other marketers e.g. Oando Marketing Plc, Folawiyo Energy Limited and Sahara Energy Limited. Rainoil has finance facilities in excess of USD170million from different banks for importation of petroleum products. With a staff strength of over 500 trained personnel, we have developed a strong track record of quality product and service delivery.
Description
This role is responsible for ensuring that Rainoil retail station within our network embodies our brand identity, quality standards, and values. The Brand Identity Specialist work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement physical branding elements that enhance the customer experience and build brand loyalty. This role requires a blend of creative vision, project management, and hands-on collaboration with vendors and contractors.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in brand identity, retail design, or project management within the oil and gas industry, retail, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale branding projects, particularly those involving physical space design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, environmental design, and physical branding applications.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, and timelines.
Responsibility
Brand Identity Implementation:
- Oversee the application of brand identity standards across all retail stations, ensuring consistency in visual elements such as signage, colour schemes, logos, and overall aesthetic.
- Develop and update brand guidelines specific to physical retail station branding, covering both interior and exterior elements.
Design & Development:
- Collaborate with design agencies, architects, and internal teams to conceptualize and produce unique, customer-centred physical branding elements.
- Ensure designs align with company standards, resonate with target audiences, and are adaptable across different station formats.
Project Management:
- Manage end-to-end brand identity projects for new station builds, renovations, and branding refreshes. This includes setting timelines, budgeting, and coordination with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Regularly conduct site visits to ensure brand guidelines are being correctly implemented and provide corrective guidance as necessary.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Conduct routine audits of retail stations to maintain brand standards and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety guidelines.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback on the physical station experience to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Vendor & Contractor Management:
- Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with vendors and contractors for branding materials, including signage, lighting, paint, and structural elements.
- Negotiate pricing and manage contracts to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of high-quality branding elements.
