JOB DESCRIPTION:
- This role is accountable for driving the development and implementation of all brands, corporate communications, and public relations strategies of entities within the group to ensure the achievement of the organization’s strategic business objectives and goals.
- In addition, this role will lead the development of brand strategies to grow and expand organizations footprints in all its areas of operations, using a variety of data to drive volume and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brand Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and execute the brands, corporate communications, and public relations strategy in line with the overall objectives of the organization.
- Lead implementation of business directives and objectives relating to brands, corporate communications, and PR, in line with the corporate vision and strategy
- Execute brands, corporate communications, and PR operational plans to ensure the successful delivery of the organization’s strategy in line with timelines and budget.
- Suggest practical and creative inputs to new business initiatives/opportunities.
Brand Development & Market Expansion
- Build brands and marketing infrastructure to drive market adoption of the organization’s services and solutions for revenue growth.
- Facilitate awareness of the organization with various stakeholders such as investors, partners, media, customers, and the community.
- Attract and prioritize market opportunities for the organization.
- Provide market intelligence to support strategic business decision making on the development of existing and new services and solutions.
- Identify and develop partnering opportunities to enhance market reach.
- Ensure all departments in the organization are aligned to meet organization's strategic brands, corporate communications, and PR objectives in line with overall corporate aspirations.
Corporate Communications
- Drive organizations’ corporate communications and brand building efforts
- Define and manage the organization’s corporate communications strategy using various media platforms.
- Drive employees’ awareness and control of the organization’s brand and corporate narrative
- Project positive image and profile as a worthy corporate brand ambassador
Public Relations & Reputation Management
- Drive the organization’s public relations function and CSR initiatives.
- Ensure exemplary corporate image and corporate identity.
- Strengthen the organization’s profile by projecting positive image and being a worthy
- corporate brand ambassador.
- Facilitate the organization’s public relations and CSR initiatives.
Budget & Financial Management
- Prepare and implement annual budget for the brands, corporate communications, and public relations functions.
- Ensure provision of meaningful, accurate, and timely budget performance reports to management
Leadership and Team Development
- Provide departmental leadership by providing clear vision, establishing, and communicating expectations across the team.
- Works closely with human resources to ensure the development of a dedicated, effective,
- efficient, and motivated workforce.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to develop team members.
- Implement performance management actions as may be needed and ensure timely recognition and reward for top performers.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Head, SSC/MD, THL

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or any related discipline. Masters/MBA is a plus
- 10 – 12 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in similar position
- Relevant professional qualification and membership is desirable
- Attendance of relevant professional development programmes from reputable institutions is a plus
