ROLE PURPOSE
- Lead the IT department in planning, budgeting, and execution of IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance requirements.
ROLE SPECIFICATIONS
- Oversee the management and optimization of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure and end user services to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
- Enterprise Network Administration - fault analysis, performance management, provisioning of networks, firewall configuration and service quality maintenance
- IT Infrastructure Management - Planning, Deployment, Configuration and Maintenance
- Data Centre Administration - Rack Management, Power Usage Effectiveness, Uninterruptible Power Systems & HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning) Monitoring, Intrusion Detection ETC
- Physical & Remote IT Support for onsite and offsite users, performing testing and problem analysis for enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions into business processes and workflows effectively.
- Provide strategic guidance on data management, analytics, and cybersecurity to protect sensitive information and mitigate risks.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the IT team, promoting collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
- Build and maintain relationships with external technology partners, vendors, and stakeholders to leverage expertise and resources effectively.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS
Qualification
- ideal candidate would have a Masters/Bachelor’s degree/ HND in IT / Computer Science or any related fields
- experience leading the technology function or a member of the IT Leadership team
- be a self-starter with great curiosity to identify tech technology innovation and marry them with business opportunities to create effective solutions that improve business performance
- ECC or HANA Certification in any of the process modules
- or CompTIA N+ certification
- System Security Professional certification
- Management Professional certification
- Understanding of FMCG value chain either in full or some functional sections (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance)
Experience
- 7 – 10 years of experience
- Experience in FMCG/Pharma/Alcobev/Manufacturing will be preferred
