Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a talented and experienced Communications Executive to join our team and lead our communications efforts.
  • The Communications Executive will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans to enhance brand awareness, manage public relations, and engage with stakeholders across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

Copywriting:

  • Craft clear, concise, and persuasive copy for advertisements, promotional materials, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all communication platforms.

Editing and Proofreading:

  • Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, coherence, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough proofreading to eliminate errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Content Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with overall marketing goals and objectives.
  • Research industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to inform content development.

Public Relations Support:

  • Provide support in drafting press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
  • Assist in media monitoring and tracking of press coverage.

Visual Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with graphic designers and multimedia specialists to create visual content, such as infographics, videos, and presentations, to complement written materials.

Brand Management:

  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency and integrity across all communication materials and channels.
  • Uphold brand guidelines and standards in all copy and content creation efforts.

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate communication projects and campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute integrated communication initiatives.
  • Develop Communication Strategies:
  • Create comprehensive communication strategies aligned with Flytime's business objectives and brand identity. Identify key messaging themes and target audiences to effectively communicate Flytime's initiatives, events, and achievements.

Media Relations:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure media coverage for Flytime events, concerts, festivals, and business initiatives. Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests.

Content Creation:

  • Generate compelling and engaging written content for various communication channels, including press releases, blog posts, articles, website copy, newsletters, social media posts, and other marketing materials. Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all communication channels.

Social Media Management:

  • Assist in managing social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or messages including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Develop and execute engaging social media campaigns to increase brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth.

Internal Communications:

  • Facilitate internal communication processes such as employee newsletters, memos and announcements to ensure alignment and transparency across departments and teams.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and information dissemination.

Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and mitigate potential reputational risks or crises.

Measurement and Analysis:

  • Track and analyze the performance of communication initiatives across different channels using relevant metrics and analytics tools.
  • Prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Responsible for a full spectrum of communications activities, including those detailed above and any others deemed necessary for company’s success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications roles, preferably in the entertainment or events industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and compelling content for various platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Crisis management experience and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
