Africa of Our Dream Initiative (AODI) was founded by David Chukwuma Izuogu as an expansion of his charity academy, �Chucks Academy� at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The Academy which was founded in September 2008 focused on helping undergraduate science students at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka on chemistry-related courses by organising well-attended tutorial classes especially for the first-year students.
Role Description
- As a Communications Team Lead at AODI, you will manage the day-to-day communication strategies and oversee internal and external communications initiatives. This is a volunteer, remote role that involves leading a team, developing strategic communications plans, and ensuring timely and effective project management.
Qualifications
- Team Leadership and Project Management skills
- Communication, Internal Communications, and Strategic Communications skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in non-profit or educational initiatives is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
