Job Responsibilities
- Manage and engage a vibrant community of 5,000+ members through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase engagement, retention, and visibility.
- Lead and manage community-centric projects and, where applicable, own product development initiatives that enhance community experience.
- Plan, organize, and host both physical and virtual events—ranging from meetups to webinars—to foster cohesion and value.
- Handle multiple concurrent events and ensure seamless execution.
- Partner closely with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, HR) to amplify community touchpoints and programs.
- Build and nurture partnerships with external communities and organizations to drive talent engagement and increase visibility.
- Manage community-focused social media channels—including content creation, publishing, and monitoring—to sustain active engagement.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 - 3 years of experience in community management, preferably within tech or startup environments.
- Strong project and event management skills, capable of running multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Excellent communication—both written and verbal—for engaging diverse audiences.
- Comfortable hosting and moderating both in-person and virtual events.
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic external partnerships.
- Familiarity with managing social media and community tools/platforms.
- Experience collaborating within diverse and inclusive teams.
- A proactive, creative, and mission-driven mindset.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
