Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution (TNTD) Limited, a licensed distribution firm that specializes in the theatrical distribution of independent and commercial filmed content, is looking to hire a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to work in our marketing department.   .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Identify potential content partners through research, industry events, and networking.
  • Stay updated on trends in the entertainment industry.
  • Assist in screening submitted films and providing feedback on their commercial viability and alignment with the company's vision.
  • Support the Content Acquisition Manager in drafting proposals, contracts, and agreements for content acquisition.
  • Maintain and update a database of all content acquisitions.
  • Work closely with the marketing and distribution teams to ensure acquired content aligns with audience preferences and marketing strategies.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing screenings, and documenting acquisition processes.

QUALIFICATION:

Our ideal candidate is expected to possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Theater Arts, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or any related Social Sciences field;
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in Content Acquisition or similar roles;
  • Professional qualifications, certifications, and memberships in the film industry are an added advantage;
  • Must reside in Lagos;
  • Must have completed NYSC.

SKILLS:

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Proficient in the use of Google Workspace;
  • Strong knowledge of the film industry, market trends, and distribution channels.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
  • Excellent time management and organization skills;
  • Ability to work with minimal or zero supervision.
