Job brief

  • We are seeking a qualified Content/Community Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices, if you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you.
  • Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.
  • Ultimately, you should be able to oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Managing content campaigns, across online owned and paid media channels.
  • Increasing awareness of the brand, product and services both internally and externally through outreach and social media amplification.
  • Create internal content, including presentations, emails, brochures, and blog articles.
  • Successfully implement content strategy per brand to achieve set brand objectives
  • Manage the branding guidelines and check for compliance (agency and client).
  • Conceptualization, work with other departments including strategy and creative to generate audience-specific content to meet targeted goals.
  • Create and manage content plans, editorial calendars and special day event calendars as related to clients or the agency.
  • Ensure website, app and social media content is relevant, engaging, up-to-date and portrays brand values.
  • Manage and optimize social media platforms for the client/agency and build ongoing relationships while ensuring content has the ability to drive online traffic to assets and achieve set goals
  • Responsible for copywriting, keyword strategy, link building, online PR strategies and content where required.
  • Carry out social media listening and analytics reports (competitive analysis, Google Analytics and other cogent metrics inclusive) using customer insight to monitor visitor engagement and draw actionable insights that could lead to creating new initiatives.
  • Plan and implement customer research and use the findings to feed into the online content strategy to support the business goals (Growth, retention, engagement).
  • Identify and recommend new tools, including community management, reporting and social listening tools.
  • Identify and manage existing and prospective/possible platforms, influencers and online community niches that brands could tap into to further engage their consumers
  • Identify social media trends to keep the business focused and at the forefront of digital (be the company Expert and Consultant, to support the organization in the field of Social Media).

Qualifications

Expectations are high, so we expect the Content/Community Management to be confident, enthusiastic, resourceful, tech-savvy, forward-thinking, self-motivated, and a creative problem solver who adapts to changing circumstances and priorities.

  • In-depth knowledge of search engine optimization best practices.
  • Must be able to understand complex environments and projects, pay attention
  • to details and maintain an organized workflow.
  • Excellent planning, project and time management, and decision-making skills
  • with the ability to self-manage numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Creativity and experience bringing new programs and ideas to fruition.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to foster/maintain relationships across multiple businesses and organizations.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills are preferred.
  • 3 -5 years of hands-on experience in the Advertising Agency
