Job Overview

  • The Content Creator and Social Media Officer is responsible for producing high-quality, engaging content across digital platforms and managing social media channels. This includes writing, graphic design, and video editing to boost brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • The role also involves analyzing performance metrics to refine content strategies and improve overall engagement.
  • The ideal candidate is a creative professional with a strong command of content development, social media management, and video editing.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:

  • Develop, write, and edit engaging content for blogs, websites, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Produce and edit multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and infographics, to support marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to create content aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and audience behavior to create relevant, engaging content.
  • Optimize content for SEO to enhance search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Maintain a content calendar for consistent and timely publication across digital platforms

Video Editing:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit videos for various digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, and the company website.
  • Create dynamic video content, including product demos, tutorials, promotional videos, and customer testimonials.
  • Work with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools to produce professional-quality videos.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for each platform (aspect ratios, subtitles, duration) and reflect current video marketing trends.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to integrate motion graphics, sound, and special effects into video content.

Social Media Management:

  • Plan, schedule, and manage social media campaigns across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Develop social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and growth.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media platforms.
  • Track social media performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, follower growth, impressions) and adjust strategies based on insights.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and influencer marketing to expand social reach.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media trends and best practices.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field with 1-3 years experience.
  • Proven experience in content creation, video editing, and social media management.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
  • Ability to create compelling visual content using graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Knowledge of SEO, content optimization, and keyword research

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic motion graphics skills and experience with tools like Adobe After Effects.
  • Photography and graphic design experience.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking and interpreting social media and content performance metrics.
