Job Summary
- The role holder will oversee the development and implementation of the Company’s digital marketing strategy, and will have the following responsibilities:
- Work with the web developers and designers in the design (and redesign) of the company website, to ensure continuous functionality
- Develop and implement the Company’s content strategy to ensure online objectives are met, using a range of techniques including SEO, PPC, etc.
- Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website and social media handles.
- Track, and report on, traffic flow & conversion rates; and recommend improvements to the website
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns and budgets
- Develop and manage educational sessions; coordinate webinars and online sessions as required
- Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
- Work on printed material to ensure offline marketing efforts complement online efforts
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
- Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in digital communications and social media marketing
- If a Bachelor’s degree is in any unrelated discipline, the candidate must have at least 3 years of experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in graphic design
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
- Experience in e-commerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
- Understanding of various content management systems, as well as the peculiarities of various social media platforms, to customize content as applicable
- Ability to design, and recommend improvements to, graphics
- Strong video editing skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools particularly MS PowerPoint
- Good project management skills
