Job Description:
- We are seeking an accomplished Corporate Communications Manager to lead our Client’s communication strategies and initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will have a distinguished background in a top media firm and a proven track record in managing public and private engagements, image laundering, reputation management, brand development, and fostering effective interpersonal relationships.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure communication strategies are consistent with the company's vision and objectives.
Media Relations:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Act as the primary spokesperson and liaison between the company and the media.
Reputation Management:
- Implement proactive strategies for reputation enhancement and crisis management.
- Monitor and address any potential reputational risks in a timely and effective manner.
Brand Development:
- Drive the development and implementation of the company's brand strategy.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and materials.
Internal Communications:
- Develop and execute internal communication plans to enhance employee engagement and understanding of company objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication between different departments and levels within the organization.
Public and Private Engagement:
- Plan and execute public and private events to enhance the company's public image.
Content Creation:
- Oversee the creation of compelling and engaging content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media, and company publications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in corporate communications, preferably with a background in a top media firm.
- Strong understanding of public and private engagement, image laundering, reputation management, and brand development.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
