Main Responsibilities

  • Develop effective corporate communication strategies
  • Manage the group’s media related communications (public relations, social media, newsletters, websites, events, presentations)
  • Draft content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company website and other social platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Organize initiatives and plan corporate events
  • Develop and manage the company’s CSR initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate communication efforts, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
  • Foster relationships with advocates and key persons
  • Collaborate with marketing professionals to produce copy for advertisements or articles
  • Perform “damage control” in the event of cases of bad publicity
  • Facilitate the resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors
  • All other related functions that may be assigned to you by the COO and/or Managing Director of the Company.

Requirements & Skills

  • 6 – 8 years proven experience in corporate communications and branding
  • B.Sc or equivalent in Marketing, Mass Communication or related disciplines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of graphics design is essential
  • Multi-tasking ability, with the ability to prioritize projects and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop creative communication strategies that align with business goals.
  • Proficient in using various communication tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and media monitoring software.
  • Ability to work with teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and manage crisis situations.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in corporate communications.
