Job Summary
This role is responsible for analyzing trends and pricing of different cryptocurrencies available and using that information to trade effectively.
Responsibilities
- Track cryptocurrency transactions and uncover money laundering schemes, including asset flow, IP addresses and wallet software.
- Uncover leads in large data sets.
- Furnish the Manager of the Division with details of data acquired for intelligence.
- Build technical tools/processes to improve overall operational effectiveness
- Carry out any other assignment delegated by the Manager.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Minimum of B.Sc. in Information Systems or Computer Science or a business degree with emphasis on Banking, Finance, or FINTECH. Certifications with tools like Reactor or TRM would be an added advantage.
- Understanding of how cryptocurrency laundering methods works.
- Technical skills and familiarity with Python and other scripting languages.
- Understanding of how SWIFT messaging works
- Understand how payment service providers work, such as Paypal or Payoneer works
- Understanding of how cryptocurrency is converted into fiat.
- Understanding of blockchains and how they work
