Job Summary

This role is responsible for analyzing trends and pricing of different cryptocurrencies available and using that information to trade effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Track cryptocurrency transactions and uncover money laundering schemes, including asset flow, IP addresses and wallet software.
  •  Uncover leads in large data sets.
  •  Furnish the Manager of the Division with details of data acquired for intelligence. 
  • Build technical tools/processes to improve overall operational effectiveness
  • Carry out any other assignment delegated by the Manager.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Minimum of B.Sc. in Information Systems or Computer Science or a business degree with emphasis on Banking, Finance, or FINTECH. Certifications with tools like Reactor or TRM would be an added advantage. 
  • Understanding of how cryptocurrency laundering methods works. 
  • Technical skills and familiarity with Python and other scripting languages. 
  • Understanding of how SWIFT messaging works  
  • Understand how payment service providers work, such as Paypal or Payoneer works 
  • Understanding of how cryptocurrency is converted into fiat. 
  • Understanding of blockchains and how they work
