Main Functions
- Primary customer point of contact for ALL questions related to “Data": data troubleshooting, configuration management support, data heath check monitoring and reporting, data bulk loads for project / new integration / cleansing / updates / migrations, integration specs for inbound & outbound data flow/connector with other systems, partner with other Company Information Technology (EMIT) and non EMIT groups in the resolution of data related issues, run data quality metrics tools and taking action to
- correct issues, including root cause analysis for systemic problems, ensuring the data is in compliance with defined data standards, assist in promoting effective use of standard data management tools and processes,
- MoC data testing and troubleshooting.
- This position would typically include a professional Data Support Analyst. Has extensive experience in the field, possibly professional certification holder.
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- University Bachelor of Science Degree in Maths, Statistics or Engineering
- A higher degree in Statistics / Data Analytics
- Data Analytics Skills – Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Visual Basic for Applications.
- Minimum of 1 year relevant oil & gas industry experience
- Strong level of relational database concepts, ability to write complex SQL queries and scripts against highly abstracted model, experience in IT Change Control support with complex framework of integrations, ability to map logical / physical data models, gather / analyze / compare data via (tableau, excel pivot, access), be familiar with the data profiling concepts.
Specific Requirements:
- Provide & manage solutions - Develop business reporting system and integrated dashboards for safety observations, verification of health and critical safeguards, and evaluation of understanding of safe work expectations
- Process Automations / Optimizations for SHE Dept e.g. Lead the Field, Dropped Objects, LSRA compliance monitoring, Process Safety Knowledge Verification, etc.
- Automate processes e.g. for registering dropped objects incidents and hazards using Nintex Forms, workflows, and PowerBI.
- Automate trainings & assessments using smartsheet application, etc.
- Data optimization & SharePoint Management – General Data / SharePoint Management.
