Role Overview:

As our Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for editing game footage, creating trailers, and producing content for YouTube and other digital platforms. You’ll work closely with our marketing and development teams to ensure our content is engaging, professional, and aligned with our brand. If you are a creative storyteller with a passion for gaming and video production, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

  • Edit and produce game trailers, gameplay videos, developer diaries, and other video content.
  • Work with raw footage to create polished, professional-quality videos for platforms like YouTube.
  • Edit and refine audio, add effects, transitions, and captions as needed to enhance video content.

Digital Content Production:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and plan video content in line with our promotional and community engagement strategies.
  • Create thumbnails, promotional graphics, and other visual assets for YouTube and social media platforms.
  • Ensure videos are optimized for each platform (e.g., YouTube, TikTok,Instagram).

Platform Management:

  • Upload and manage video content on platforms like YouTube, ensuring that metadata, descriptions, and tags are optimized for search.
  • Monitor content performance (views, engagement) and adjust future contentstrategies based on data insights.
  • Respond to audience comments and engage with the community to build a strong viewer base.

Content Calendar:

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar for video releases, ensuring regular updates and consistent engagement across platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends in video content, especially within the gaming industry, to keep content fresh and relevant.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Proven experience with video editing software, preferably Filmora (experience with other tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is a plus).
  • Experience producing content for YouTube or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of video formats, editing techniques, and optimization for digital platforms.

Skills:

  • Proficient in video editing and post-production, including color grading, audio editing, and effects.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube’s algorithms, best practices for video SEO, and video marketing strategies.
  • Creative thinker with excellent storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Personal Attributes:

  • Passion for video games and the gaming community.
  • Collaborative and open to feedback, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable, able to pivot and adjust content strategies based on new trends and performance data.

Understanding of Company Properties:

  • Must have a solid understanding of the games and properties developed by the company, including their rules, mechanics, and unique features. This knowledge will be critical for ensuring accuracy and alignment in all aspects of the role, from game development to API integration.
