Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead and execute our digital marketing strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans that drive online visibility, product adoption, website visits, lead generation, and sales growth across our B2B channels.
  • This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and strong analytical skills to optimize digital marketing initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Work with Digital Strategy Manager to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive online visibility, lead generation, and sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to align digital marketing activities with business goals and product launches.

SEO and SEM Management:

  • Optimize the company’s website for search engines to increase organic traffic.
  • Plan and manage paid search campaigns to maximize ROI.

Content Marketing:

  • Work with Content Marketing Writer, Copy Writer, and Digital Strategy Manager, to develop and manage content marketing strategies, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media content.
  • Ensure content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with the company’s brand voice and messaging and speaks to our retailers, distributors and manufacturers.

Social Media Management:

  • Oversee the company’s social media presence, creating and scheduling posts that drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries and feedback.

Email Marketing:

  • Design and implement email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage existing customers.
  • Segment email lists and personalize communications to maximize effectiveness.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and other marketing software.
  • Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, website traffic, and lead generation.

Lead Generation:

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate and nurture leads through various digital channels.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure leads are effectively followed up and converted.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide actionable insights to guide digital marketing strategies for Nigeria and South Africa.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree, in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the e-commerce or FMCG sector, with evidenced accomplishments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide monthly reports on all projects for management reporting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including SEO/SEM tools such as SEM Rush, email marketing tool such as HubSpot, MailChimp, and social media management tools, social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Awario, Hootsuite, Google Alerts, etc.
  • Simple design skills using Canva, Photoshop, Adobe
  • Ability to travel as required.
