Job Description
- We are seeking a creative and strategic Digital & Social Media Officer to join our team in Lagos.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our digital and social media presence, creating engaging content, and driving our online marketing efforts across all associated companies.
- This role requires a passionate individual who can effectively communicate our brand message and engage with our audience.
Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for all associated companies.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns.
Content Creation:
- Generate creative and compelling content (text, images, videos) that aligns with our brand identity and objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content calendars.
- Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and optimized for each platform.
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, and other digital marketing techniques to enhance online presence.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.
Brand Management:
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels.
- Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and videos.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep our digital marketing strategies current and effective.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Use analytics tools to track and measure the performance of digital and social media campaigns.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management on campaign performance and areas for improvement.
- Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize results.
Requirements
- 2-3 years proven experience as a Digital & Social Media Officer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.
- Experience with SEO, SEM, email marketing, and other digital marketing techniques.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
