PURPOSE
- The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and conversion
KEY DUTIES
- Develop and manage email templates, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
- Plan, design, and execute and-to-end email marketing campaigns to support business objectives.
- Set up and manage automated email workflows, including welcome series, re-engagement campaigns, abandoned cart recovery, and lifecycle marketing.
- Segment email lists based on user behavior, demographics, and engagement levels to deliver personalized content.
- Generate reports and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Work closely with content writers, graphic designers, and developers to create visually appealing and high-converting emails.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE /SKILLS
- Proven work experience as an email marketing specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of email marketing strategies, automation, and personalization techniques.
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Experience with HTML/CSS for email design is a plus
- Copywriting
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, or similar.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably within a B2B or B2C environment
