Dangote Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Head of Branding to join their dynamic team.
The Group Head of Branding will be responsible for managing and enforcing the visual identity of the brand across multiple channels and corporate assets. S/he will also ensure that that the brand equity is sustained. S/he will:
- Develop the brand management strategy, plan, and approach to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Plan, budget and implement key brand management initiatives and campaigns in line with company objectives.
- Assess brand management campaigns impact and periodically revise marketing strategy and plans.
- To develop and implement a fully integrated brand management communications plan supporting the overall brand strategy including media, creative campaigns and PR.
- Lead brand planning processes by developing and executing annual brand target setting, innovation review and brand strategy review.
- To engage with different businesses and multiple functions as they develop new products where required and ensuring brand alignment.
- Regularly analyse historical new product launches and reports on vitality rates.
- Stay informed of latest developments in the fields of Brand, Corporate Communications, Marketing Research, Social Marketing and new media. Use this information to inform strategic actions.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten years of experience in Marketing and Brand Management in a related industry.
- Strong business acumen coupled with strategic thinking.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Brand Management policies, practices, and trends..
- Proven ability to comprehend and handle intricate environmental and legislative matters
- Knowledge of a wide range of communications and marketing techniques, including expertise in social media.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and strategies is indispensable.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Membership of any of the following professional bodies will be an added advantage: NIPR, NIMN, CIMN , APCON, ISMM or CAM.
