About the Role:
- In this part-time role, you'll play a crucial role in developing our students' ICT knowledge and skills. You'll create a fun and engaging learning environment where children ages 6-10 can explore technology, build confidence, and become responsible digital citizens.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and age-appropriate ICT lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Introduce students to essential ICT skills like coding basics, digital literacy, and online safety.
- Encourage creativity and problem-solving through technology projects.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with teachers from other subjects to integrate ICT skills across the curriculum.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest educational technology trends.
Qualifications:
- Teaching qualification or relevant experience in ICT education (preferred).
- A passion for technology and its potential in education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- The ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Patience and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
