Responsibilities
Technical Support and Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals), operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and software applications.
- Provide technical support to end-users (in-person, phone, email, or remote), resolving IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network problems, escalating complex issues to higher-level support or external vendors when necessary.
- Manage user accounts (creation, modification, deletion), access rights, and password resets.
Network and Systems Management
- Monitor and maintain the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and related infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
- Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Manage and maintain servers, including virtualization and basic cloud services.
- Install and implement upgrades and patches for operating systems and applications.
Security and Compliance
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures (e.g., antivirus
Requirements:
- Minimum of B.sc/HND
- Minimum of 1 year experience.
- Experience in medical sector (hospital) would be an advantage.
