Core Requirements:
- BSc/HND in Computer Science or any other relevant certificate.
- Sound experience in reliable operation of computer systems, especially multi-user systems like servers.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in software and hardware.
- Mastery of configuration management.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
- Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting any reported problems handling repairs and providing support and recommendations.
- Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
- Answering technical queries and assisting users.
- Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
- Configuring, adding, and deleting file systems.
- Ensuring parity between dev, test and production environments.
- Training staff on system use and maintenance.
