Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal availability of all IT infrastructure for seamless flow of operations
- Implement zero tolerance down-time for the ERP driving the operations
- Deploy cost effective and proficient solutions that can improve business efficiency
- Procuring, maintaining, and administering computers and office equipment.
- Administering corporate software systems.
- Deploying and enforcing security policies and procedures.
- Providing IT support and resolving problems for colleagues.
- Suggesting and implementing improvements in procedures and equipment.
- Maintaining knowledge of IT support, help desk procedures, products, and services.
- Managing an issues tracking system and reporting on issue resolution SLAs
- Serving as administrator for various corporate software systems
Qualifications
- A good university degree in computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Electronics Engineering
- 5+years cognate experience in IT operations in Manufacturing
- Good working knowledge of ERPs
- Strong commercial experience in active directory, Windows Exchange servers.
- Management skills with ability to approach issues as a business expert, not just as IT specialist
- Analytical skills with interpersonal communication skills,
- Innovative, creative and externally oriented.
- Sound business knowledge with self-confidence
- Integrity and ability to keep up to date with emerging technologies.
