The Mambila Beverages Nigeria limited was incorporated as a private limited liability company on the 10th September 2012 to manage the assets acquired by the Taraba State Government after collapse of the which was acquired through auction as a result of the collapse of the defunct Nigerian Beverages Production Company Limited which was established since 1982. It was incorporated to carry out the business of growing, manufacture, and marketing of tea, coffee and other form of beverages. The Company is 100% owned by the Taraba State Government. The Company has its Headquarters at Kakara, Sardauna local Government area, Taraba State, Nigeria. The Head office comprises the Estate: Tea plantation of 615 hectares and the factory with installed capacity of 1.6million kgs of made tea per annum, while the marketing offices are located at Gembu, Jalingo, Yola, Kano and Abuja presently but with a view to expanding to other major towns of Nigeria.
Responsibilities:
- Manage information technology and computer systems.
- Maintain the LAN and Cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
- Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal ITManage all applications.
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience working in IT operations.
- Good knowledge of cloud computing.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, ERP.
