JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and configuration changes, to ensure the stability and security of business applications.
  • Analyze, investigate, and troubleshoot incidents related to technical and process issues
  • Coordinate production incidents between business, engineers, and third-party providers
  • Educate business end users on how to make effective use of their technological tools to speed up problem resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, software development, and business stakeholders, to address complex issues and implement enhancements to business applications.
  • Monitor the performance and usage of business applications, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implement optimizations to enhance system performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to business applications and propose innovative solutions to streamline processes and improve productivity.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Basic knowledge of collaboration tools and services including Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Entra domain services, M365, 0365, Google Workspace, Google Cloud Identity, DNS, TCP/IP, printer administration, LAN, WAN, Wifi, and similar technologies.
  • A strong understanding of ITSM processes and familiarity with ITIL is a big plus
  • Availability to work in shifts and be on an on-call rota
  • Eagerness to learn various technologies and solutions to support business users and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues logically and systematically.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with end-users and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Have a working laptop, mobile phone and headphones/earphones
  • Flexible to take on alternating shifts (day/night) depending on preferred schedules

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certification is a plus
  • Must have completed NYSC
