SUMMARY

Our client, a cutting-edge Internet Service Provider, is in search of a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead the management and optimization of the company's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical background, leadership qualities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional IT services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and maintain servers, storages, and appliances in the ICT infrastructure under the guidance of the Head of the Department.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of network and systems design, drawings, and configurations.
  • Configure and maintain DNS appliances or servers, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Oversee and manage monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Cacti to ensure optimal performance.
  • Configure and maintain mail servers and other application servers on both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Design comprehensive disaster recovery procedures for backbone, servers, applications, and services.
  • Take accountability for the performance and monitoring of the entire ICT infrastructure.
  • Conduct evaluations of service quality, Quality of Service (QOS), and equipment regularly.
  • Provide network and IT solutions for corporate clients, ensuring their technological needs are met.
  • Offer remote and on-site support to corporate clients, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Document all tasks and activities performed, maintaining accurate records.
  • Generate reports as per established procedures and based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assume responsibility for all assigned equipment within the team.
  • Demonstrate a high level of personal responsibility, serving as an example to colleagues.
  • Lead and inspire the team through effective team leadership or collaboration.
  • Abide by and enforce the rules and regulations of the department and the company.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance the company's technological capabilities.
  • Be available round-the-clock for urgent interventions, showcasing readiness to address any faced problem.
  • Possess a customer-centric attitude and willingness to visit clients when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer communication engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an ISP, Telecommunication or IT Company
  • Preferred certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Linux, HPE, Dell.
  • Proficient in configuring and maintaining firewalls.
  • Proven experience in Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Servers (Dell or HPE) and storage.
  • Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware).
  • Experience in backup solutions such as Commvault.
  • Ability to design topology and provide consultancy for corporate customers.
  • Knowledge of Billing System Setup, architecture, and maintenance is a plus.
  • Support applications in both Windows and Linux environments.
