Description 
System Maintenance and Support:

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Install, configure, and update hardware and software applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Provide technical support to employees, addressing hardware, software, and network-related queries.

Network Management:

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Ensure network security through firewalls, antivirus, and other security measures.
  • Conduct regular network performance assessments and recommend improvements.

User Support and Training:

  • Assist employees with setting up new accounts, workstations, and access permissions.
  • Provide training sessions and create user manuals for new software and systems.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk requests in a timely manner.

Data Management:

  • Ensure regular backups of all critical data and systems.
  • Monitor data integrity and implement data recovery procedures as needed.
  • Manage the organization's data storage solutions.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and protocols.
  • Monitor and protect against cybersecurity threats, conducting regular security audits.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant IT laws and regulations.

IT Projects:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand and fulfill their IT needs.

Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
