- We are seeking a diligent and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an IT Officer at our Lagos center.
- The role involves overseeing the physical and e-library, providing technical support to students, ensuring seamless internet connectivity, and managing technical aspects during exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize the physical and e-library resources.
- Assist students with accessing digital resources and navigating online databases.
- Provide timely technical assistance to students and faculty members regarding hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve internet connectivity problems within the building.
- Setup and configure computers for exams, ensuring all necessary software and systems are operational.
- Provide technical oversight during exams to ensure smooth conduct and troubleshoot any technical glitches that may arise.
- Regularly inspect and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Maintain records of technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
- Generate reports on system performance, usage, and potential areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, preferably in an academic or educational environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Strong understanding of internet connectivity and network infrastructure.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
