Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Identifying potential clients through networking, online research, and referrals
  • Client engagement: Reaching out to potential clients to start conversations and build relationships
  • Business development: Helping clients understand how technology can help them use data across channels
  • Revenue growth: Working to increase revenue and expand the client base
  • Customer acquisition: Helping to achieve customer acquisition goals

Technical knowledge

Candidates must have the following:

  • A thorough understanding of the products and services they sell
  • Be able to discuss product specifications with clients
  • Be able to explain complex technical concepts to customers

Sales skills

  • Have excellent selling skills
  • Understand sales principles and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Be able to negotiate prices and service agreements
  • Be able to work well under pressure

Communication skills

  • Be able to clearly communicate verbally
  • Be able to craft presentations to demonstrate product features
  • Be able to write reports and proposals
  • Be able to follow up with clients to receive product feedback

Other skills

  • Have a keen interest in IT issues
  • Have initiative
  • BSC or HND in Computer Science or other related field
  • Be able to manage the time and plan your day effectively
  • Be able to work well on his/her own or in a team
