About the job

  • Set up and configure new laptops and desktops.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Support and Maintain MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange.
  • Ensure security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops.
  • Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops.
  • Fault finding to laptops and desktops.
  • Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained.
  • Set up new users and disabling expired accounts.
  • Perform basic IT administrative support duties as required to meet specific operational objectives.
  • Escalate IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • HND/BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-3 years experience in IT support
  • knowledge of hardware and software
  • Relevant IT certification/ training.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Cybersecurity conscious.
