As IT Support, the candidate will:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
- Provide technical support to staff, ensuring prompt resolution of IT-related challenges.
- Implement and maintain IT security measures, including data backups, antivirus management, and access controls.
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures for reference and training purposes.
Requirements for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in IT support.
- Proven technical proficiency in computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Sound understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity, and best IT practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) will be an added advantage.
