SignalADoc is seeking to hire an experienced Business Management/Administrative Personnel, with excellent business acumen to perform all administrative and clerical duties necessary for effective office management.
- We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT support personnel to join our dynamic tech company.
- The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and support to ensure efficient operation of our information systems and technology infrastructure.
- This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining IT systems.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide first-level support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance of IT systems.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
System Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Ensure the security and integrity of IT infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
User Assistance:
- Provide technical guidance and support to employees on IT-related issues.
- Conduct training sessions to educate users on basic and advanced features of IT systems and software.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures and processes.
Troubleshooting:
- Respond to IT service requests and incidents in a timely manner.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Ensure proper asset tagging and tracking of IT resources.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and repair services.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- -Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT support technician or similar role.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent are preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with common software applications and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, antivirus software).
- Experience with Office 365 (Onebox,Teams,Sharepoint, Enchange Server, Shared mailbox, and Active Directory)
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Strong understanding of cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Solid understanding Git, continuous integration, continuous delivery.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN), and network security.
- Experience with webservers Nginx, Apache, etc.
- Knowledge of scripting and programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, ReactJS, React Native, Laravel, Bash, or PowerShell
- System Administation and Backups
- Software Testing (Manual testing)
- Website Managegment (Hosting, Domain name, DNS Records, File manager, Database(MySQL server),Apache/web server, Basic Linux commands and CPanal)
- Cloud server administration (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Digitalocean)
- Software Development tools i.e GooglePlay Console, Apple Connect, Firebase, BitBucket, Jira/Trello, Postman and Git/GitHub
- Payment Gateway (Paystack & Flutterwave)
