Job Description
As an IT System Administrator in Trading Partner Ltd., you will play a crucial role in managing, supporting, and improving our IT systems and network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our IT environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to system management.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain servers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to plan and execute IT projects and upgrades.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to recommend and implement new technologies as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in managing virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Experience using Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Experience in Scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Cisco CCNA) are desirable.
