About The Role

  • We are seeking a dynamic junior social media officer to develop and curate engaging content across our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will manage our online community, analyze campaign performance, and collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing goals.
  • This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and experience in paid social media campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok)
  • Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments and messages, engaging with our audience promptly and authentically
  • Social Media Strategy: Assist in creating and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, and engagement, and drive traffic
  • Analytics: Track and analyse the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights to optimise future campaigns
  • Trends and Research: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals and campaigns
  • Campaign Support and Media Buying: Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including budget management, ad creation, and performance analysis
  • Any other duties as assigned by the manager

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Proven experience (2-4 years) in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics)
  • Basic understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media algorithms
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media metrics and provide actionable insights
  • Experience in tracking and reporting on campaign performance and ROI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to craft engaging and authentic content tailored to different social media platforms and audiences
  • Knowledge of social media advertising and media buying, including budget management and ad performance analysis
