Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies, managing communications, and enhancing the brand visibility of Flytime Promotions.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Flytime events, festivals, and brand initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Brand Management:
- Maintain and enhance the brand image of Flytime Promotions.
- Develop branding initiatives, materials, and campaigns.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.
Public Relations:
- Develop and nurture relationships with media outlets and influencers.
- Create and distribute press releases, and manage media coverage for events.
- Handle crisis communications effectively when necessary.
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the Multimedia Specialist and creative teams to create engaging content for marketing campaigns.
- Develop written content for all promotional materials, social media, blog, newsletter and website.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
Event Promotion:
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive attendance and awareness for Flytime Fest and other events.
- Coordinate with ticketing platforms, sponsors, and partners to maximize promotional opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing and communications roles, preferably in the entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to marketing strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian entertainment industry is a plus.
- Hardworking with a positive and cooperative mindset.
