Euracare provides diagnostic services with state-of-the-art equipment and treatment capabilities including minimally-invasive procedures in the fields of cardiology, interventional radiology, orthopaedics, urology, general surgery and bariatrics and neurosurgery.
Job Description
- The Marketing and content specialistwill play a central role in bringing Euracare’s brand to life through integrated content, campaign execution, public relations, events, and coordination of all advertising channels.
- This role requires a proactive, organized, and creative communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders, develop compelling messaging, and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Messaging:
- Write high-quality, patient-friendly content for the website, social media, newsletters, brochures, blogs, doctor profiles, and internal communication.
- Develop scripts, talking points, and narratives for video content, interviews, and patient education campaigns.
Content Strategy and Calendar Management:
- Work with the marketing team to develop and execute a social media content strategy that aligns with Euracare’s brand voice and business goals.
- Plan, schedule, and manage a social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of content.
Community Engagement:
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a professional and empathetic manner, fostering a positive and interactive online community.
Website Content Management:
- Regularly update website content to ensure it is fresh, accurate, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
Campaign Planning & Execution:
- Support development and rollout of multi-channel campaigns in collaboration with the digital and creative teams.
- Coordinate timelines, approvals, and deliverables for campaigns.
- Track campaign results and contribute to post-campaign reviews.
Doctor & Department Coordination:
- Build strong relationships with doctors and department heads to identify marketing opportunities, patient stories (with consent), and updates.
- Schedule content interviews, coordinate input from medical teams, and manage internal approvals.
PR & Media Relations:
- Draft press releases and coordinate outreach to media outlets, including arranging interviews and providing background materials.
- Build and maintain a network of healthcare and lifestyle media contacts.
- Support crisis communication and reputation management efforts as needed.
Event Management:
- Plan and coordinate hospital-hosted events such as screenings, awareness campaigns, open days, and partner activations.
- Manage logistics, collateral, invitations, vendor coordination, and event-day execution.
- Capture feedback, document results, and support post-event reporting.
Strategic Input:
- Support quarterly marketing planning and annual campaign roadmap development.
- Conduct basic market research and competitor monitoring.
- Suggest ideas for outreach campaigns, partnerships, and community health initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years proven experience as a Content Writer, Social Media Manager, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of published work, preferably in the healthcare or a related industry.
- Healthcare Knowledge: A solid understanding of medical terminology and the ability to simplify complex health concepts for a lay audience.
- Exceptional Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and style.
- Social Media Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and content best practices.
- Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh and innovative content ideas.
- Research Skills: Strong research abilities to gather credible information from reputable sources.
- Soft Skills: Excellent time management skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media management tools and basic SEO principles is a plus.
Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 / month.
