Purpose Statement

  • We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing & Communications Officer to join our team.
  • In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping our brand narrative, implementing creative marketing strategies, and fostering effective communication channels.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of our brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and high-quality content, including written, visual, and multimedia materials, for various marketing channels.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and curate content for social media platforms, fostering audience engagement and brand visibility.
  • Public Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders to enhance our brand's public image.
  • Campaign Coordination: Coordinate marketing campaigns from conceptualization to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute events, both physical and virtual, to promote brand awareness and engagement.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences.
  • Internal Communications: Facilitate effective internal communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across teams.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of marketing efforts and generate reports for informed decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and design, to ensure integrated and effective marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in marketing and communications.
  • Proficiency in content creation, including writing and multimedia production.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and growing social media platforms.
  • Experience in planning and executing both physical and virtual events.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with media, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and report on marketing performance.
  • Strong collaborative skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to contribute to unique marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
