POSITION SUMMARY
- We are seeking to hire a Media Event and Production Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of media events and productions, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently.
- They will work with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to plan and execute events and productions that meet or exceed expectations.
- The Media Event and Production Manager will manage timelines, budgets, personnel, and resources to ensure that each event and production is successful.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute media events and productions, from concept to completion, in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful event and production outcomes
- Coordinate all aspects of event and production logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, equipment rentals, and transportation
- Manage and oversee event and production personnel, including contractors and staff, to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including health and safety, licensing, and permits
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials, including advertisements, press releases, and social media content
- Analyze event and production outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 2- 5 years of experience in event and production management
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and technologies
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Experience working in media or entertainment industries is preferred
