Job Overview:

  • As a Media Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing media campaigns to promote and enhance the organization's brand and image.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, media agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of key messages through various media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive media plans aligned with overall marketing and communication strategies.
  • Analyze target audience behavior and media consumption patterns to optimize media placements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in media landscapes to adapt strategies accordingly.

Media Buying and Negotiation:

  • Negotiate and purchase advertising space and time across various media channels (TV, radio, print, online, social media, etc.).
  • Optimize media budgets to achieve maximum reach and impact.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media vendors and partners.

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the execution of media campaigns from conception to completion.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and other teams to align media strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all media platforms.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage media budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Track expenditures and reconcile budgets regularly.

Media Analytics:

  • Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of media campaigns.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in media planning, buying, and campaign management.
  • Strong understanding of media trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using media planning and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with media buying platforms and ad management tools.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in digital and social media marketing.
  • Certifications in media planning or related areas.
